‘Empowering women and changing communities, WOW’s effort in redirecting journeys and rewriting stories’

Women Of Will has been working since 2016 to empower women from low-income communities by strengthening their skills, confidence, and economic opportunities.

To date, the organisation has supported over 2,900 women across more than 45 communities in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Kedah, and Sabah. This includes a strong focus on B40 women, particularly single mothers who balance multiple responsibilities as primary caregivers and income earners.

Through structured initiatives such as the WOWED (Entrepreneurship Development) and CLDP (Community Leadership Development) programmes, participants are equipped with practical skills in entrepreneurship and leadership to support long-term personal and community growth.

The impact has been significant, with 96% of participants continuing their businesses after programme completion, an average income increase of more than 30%, and 83% reporting improved skills that support both business expansion and community engagement. In addition, over 110 community leaders have been developed, indirectly benefiting more than 20,000 individuals.

Women Of Will continues to welcome public involvement through volunteering, financial contributions, and strategic partnerships aimed at expanding its impact across more communities.
