‘Creating second chances, how Women Of Will change the fate of the women's community for the better’

Women Of Will has been supporting women from the B40 community since 2016 through structured empowerment programmes aimed at improving livelihoods and strengthening community resilience.

Across Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Kedah, and Sabah, the organisation has reached over 2,900 women from more than 45 marginalised communities. Many of these participants are single mothers and primary household earners facing ongoing economic and social challenges.

Through initiatives such as the WOWED (Women Of Will Entrepreneurship Development) and CLDP (Community Leadership Development Programme), participants receive structured training in entrepreneurship, leadership, and personal development. These programmes focus on long-term empowerment rather than short-term assistance.

The impact has been significant, with 96% of participants continuing their businesses after programme completion, an average income increase of at least 30%, and 83% reporting improved skills that support both business growth and community contribution. In addition, more than 110 community leaders have been developed, indirectly benefiting over 20,000 community members.

Beyond individual empowerment, WOW continues to expand its impact through volunteering opportunities, financial contributions, and strategic partnerships with organisations committed to social development.
