Our Story

Founded in 2016, Women Of Will was built on a simple belief — when women are empowered, communities become stronger.

What began as a structured micro-credit and entrepreneurship initiative has since evolved into a community-based empowerment ecosystem supporting women from underserved communities to build sustainable livelihoods, strengthen their wellbeing, and grow into leaders within their own communities.

Over the years, we have witnessed how empowering one woman creates a ripple effect that extends far beyond the individual. As women gain confidence, financial independence, and leadership opportunities, families become more resilient, communities become more connected, and new pathways for long-term change begin to emerge.

Today, Women Of Will continues to strengthen its role as a backbone organisation by bringing together communities, partners, funders, and stakeholders to create sustainable, community-led impact that can continue beyond our presence.

about us

  • Empowering Women, Empowering Communities

  • Empowering women to transform their lives and create self-sustaining communities

  • 1. Commitment
We remain dedicated to creating meaningful and lasting impact for the women and communities we serve.

    2. Respect
We honour the dignity, voices, experiences, and potential of every individual and community.

    3. Connect
We believe lasting change happens through collaboration, partnerships, and strong community relationships.

    4. Excellence
We strive to uphold high standards of integrity, accountability, and quality in everything we do.

  • 1. Community-Based Approach (CBA)
We believe sustainable change can only happen when communities are actively involved in shaping solutions for themselves. Through our community-based approach, we work closely alongside women and local stakeholders to understand their realities, build on existing strengths, and co-create initiatives that are relevant, inclusive, and sustainable for the long term.

    2. Backbone Organisation
As a backbone organisation, Women Of Will plays a coordinating and enabling role in bringing together communities, partners, funders, government agencies, and ecosystem stakeholders towards a shared goal of strengthening underserved communities. Beyond programme implementation, we focus on building partnerships, strengthening systems, developing community leadership, and creating pathways for sustainable impact that can continue beyond individual interventions.
