    Reports To: Senior Manager, Development & Partnerships

    Location: Kuala Lumpur

    Employment Type: 1-Year Contract (Renewable based on performance and availability)

    Expected Start Date: June 2026

    The Development & Partnerships Executive will support the Senior Manager in driving fundraising efforts (including grant writing), managing partnerships (including hosting roundtable sessions), and strengthening relationships with funders and stakeholders. This role is highly execution-focused, with a strong emphasis on continuous communication, relationship building, and ensuring partner satisfaction and retention. The Executive will play a key role in ensuring that all funders and partners are well-engaged, informed, and aligned with Women Of Will’s programmes and impact. The executive is also expected to be on the ground where necessary.

  • 1. Fundraising & Grant Execution

    • Support the identification and research of potential funders including corporates, CSR partners and foundations.

    • Assist in preparing grant proposals, sponsorship decks, and funding applications.

    • Track funding pipeline and follow up on submissions and approvals.

    • Ensure all required documents and compliance requirements are met for funders.

    2. Partnership Management & Coordination

    • Support the Senior Manager in developing and maintaining corporate and strategic partnerships.

    • Act as a coordination point between WOW and external partners to ensure smooth communication.

    • Organize meetings, prepare presentation materials, and follow up on action items.

    • Ensure fulfilment of partnership deliverables (e.g. branding, acknowledgements, participation in programmes).

    3. Programme & Stakeholder Support

    • Work closely with internal programme teams to understand funding needs and project updates.

    • Assist in aligning partner expectations with programme delivery.

    • Support coordination of partner involvement in WOW initiatives (e.g. site visits, events, community programmes).


    4. Donor & Partner Reporting

    • Prepare timely and accurate reports for funders and partners.

    • Compile project data including outputs, outcomes, and financial utilisation.

    • Ensure all reporting deadlines and formats are adhered to.

    5. Impact Tracking & Documentation

    • Support data collection from programme teams for impact measurement.

    • Assist in preparing impact summaries and reports aligned with SDGs.

    • Maintain organized records of partnerships, proposals, and funding documents.

    You are also expected to be on the ground where necessary

  • Essential:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related field.

    • 2-3 years of experience in fundraising, partnerships, CSR, or NGO sector (Executive Level). Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply (Junior Level).

    • Strong writing skills (proposal writing and reporting).

    • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines.

    • Passion for social impact and community development.

    • Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Canva, etc.).

    Preferred:

    • Experience working with corporate partners or CSR programmes.

    • Exposure to grant writing and donor reporting.

    • Experience supporting community-based or rural programmes.

  • Details:

    • Contract Type: Fixed-term, 1 year (renewable)

    • Probation Period: 3-6 months

    • Salary Range: Depending on qualifications and experience

      • Junior Level: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00

      • Executive Level: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00
